The Collaborator

I work hand in hand with Kim Skubris and Kerry Forsythe in the industry of Organisational Storytelling, Key Messaging, Professional Development, and Advocacy Training. We work with individuals and organisations to help them tell their stories in unique and interesting ways, create their key messages and to best deliver them to the right audiences.

Kim Skubris: Former Broadcast Journalist, Media Comms Specialist, Keynote Speaker, Advocacy Mentor and Public Speaking Coach

Kim has decades of experiences as a broadcast journalist and now works as a Media Consultant and Coach. She exudes energy and joy as an emcee, and in her corporate keynote speaking roles. As a decade-long reporter on the police and court rounds, Kim’s commitment to not-for-profit work is second to none, in particular with organisations supporting women and children. She is an Ambassador for Act For Kids & the Daniel Morcombe Foundation, and is a Lite Haus Board Member.

Kim prides herself on providing a professional, fun, informative, safe and supportive environment for clients to challenge themselves. She believes everyone has a story to tell, but too many people are silenced by self-doubt and naysayers. Her mission is to lead with the heart in everything she does and bring value to the person, group, organisation or audience she is lucky enough to work with.

Kerry Forsythe: Heritage Researcher, Digital Content Creator and Graphic Designer

Kerry loves nothing more than exploring historic places, meeting the people who lived in them and listening to their stories. She has had a successful sales and marketing career, working in real estate and as a pharmaceutical sales trainer, but her passion lies in historical storytelling. She loves to create artistic digital content, and uses technology to streamline marketing and media efforts. Kerry manages a number of Facebook pages and love to help community groups with their marketing in her spare time.

Kerry’s particular skills are focused on:

  • Investigative Research; Family History / Genealogy; Online Content Creation; Creative Digital Design

  • Legacy Project Management; Audio-Visual Recording; Video Editing; Personal and Professional Document Design

  • Social Media Marketing and Management; Community Engagement; Sales, Marketing & Advertising strategies

  • Training and Education; Creative Photography

Together, the three of us bring our broad range of skills to anybody’s table, in order to create bespoke training programs for individuals, businesses and community organisations. From teaching Year 3 students how to write, critique, edit, self-publish, advertise and sell their own books; to coaching survivors of domestic violence and bereaved parents in Advocacy programs; to working with small business owners teaching them social media savvy… you name it, we can either help you with it, or refer you to someone who can.

If you’d like to work with us, give me a call to discuss your needs, and we will work with you to build a training package to suit your needs!
